I started employment as an On Track Tutor in November 2006 and since then I have been thoroughly impressed with the level of support and training provided to me. I feel that On Track are committed to continually improving the course and their training materials and the feedback sessions are an excellent opportunity for Tutors, Mentors and students to provide suggestions. All the staff at On Track are very ‘hands on’ and their passion for On Track is evident by the support and enthusiasm which they share with all members of the team as well as the students themselves.

I feel that my experience as an On Track Tutor has strengthened my communication and interpersonal skills as well as gaining confidence from the positive feedback I have received from the students. Overall, I think that On Track is a positive experience for both the Tutors/Mentors and students. I wish that I had the opportunity to participate in On Track before embarking on university life as I believe that many of my fears would have been eased, as well as learning invaluable skills such as note taking, referencing and most importantly where to find the Student Union!
